1. Acceptance

By accessing or using RamList ("the site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What RamList is

RamList aggregates publicly-available product listings from third-party retailers (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Newegg, or Best Buy) and presents them in a price-comparison format. We are not a retailer. We do not stock, sell, ship, or accept payment for any product.

3. No warranty on prices, availability, or specs

Prices and stock status are scraped on a schedule and may be out of date by the time you click through. Product specifications are extracted automatically and supplemented by AI inference; we make no guarantee of accuracy. Always verify the price, availability, and specs at the retailer before purchasing.

4. Third-party transactions

When you click a "Buy" button you leave RamList and continue on the retailer's site. The retailer's terms, privacy policy, and return policy govern that transaction. We have no role in fulfilling, supporting, or resolving disputes related to your purchase.

5. Affiliate relationships

We earn commissions from affiliate programs run by the retailers we link to. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. Affiliate participation does not affect our price-based ranking.

6. Community submissions

When you submit a listing to the Community page, you confirm that you have the right to share the link, the listing is not fraudulent, and the submission does not violate the linked-to site's terms. We may remove any submission at our discretion. Repeated abuse will result in your email address being banned from further submissions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools to scrape, mirror, or otherwise re-publish RamList's data at scale without prior written permission
  • Attempt to disrupt the site's operation (rate-limit evasion, abuse of the contact / community / report forms)
  • Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, malicious, or infringes any third-party right
  • Misrepresent the source or authenticity of a submitted listing

8. Intellectual property

RamList's name, design, and original content (including the catalog structure, attribute taxonomy, and editorial copy) are owned by LinuxGnut.com. Product names, manufacturer logos, and retailer trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear under fair-use comparison conventions.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAMLIST AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PURCHASE YOU MAKE AT A LINKED RETAILER.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a revision indicates acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law
